Roofing of the boarding school and chapel (ph_575)

The galvanized sheet metal roofing began in August and was finished in December of 1913. The contract was awarded to Auguste Dugal’s Plumbing Company from Edmundston. The steeple’s height was 120 feet. When finished, the steeple with lanterns and cross measured 132 feet, from the ground to the tip of the cross.
