Armand Labrie (1912-1984) (ph_3556)

Born in Clair, Armand was the son of Joseph Labrie and Victoria Pelletier. Armand was a student at the convent of Saint-Basile from 1923 to 1926. He did his classical studies at Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière and his studies in theology at Holy Heart Seminary in Halifax. Ordained priest, he was the curate in many parishes until 1958, then the parish priest of Saint-Jean-Baptiste of Restigouche. He retired in 1958.
