Éloi and Théodule were former students of Hôtel-Dieu Academy in Saint-Basile. In order to prepare the boys for classical studies, the Saint-Louis boarding school of Saint-Basile offered them a curriculum including Latin and more French classes. This seventh grade justifies the title ofMsgr. Dugal’s Petit Collège often given to the boys boarding school.
