These two nuns entered the convent in 1920 and continued their studies at Hôtel-Dieu of Chatham around 1930. Sister Saint-Vincent was born in Saint-Joseph, a daughter of Phylias Morneault and Marie Gagnon. She taught school, then studied at Chatham to become a nurse. Sister St-Vincent took care of the sick for many years. Anna Cyr, daughter of Firmin Cyr and Marcelline Desjardins, was born in Sainte-Anne of Madawaska. She was a student boarder at Saint-Basile and Chatham and then she went to Normal School in Fredericton. Anna taught school for several years before entering the convent at age twenty-seven. Sister Desjardins studied in Chatham to be a nurse, and she also obtained a certificate in pharmacy. She worked many years as pharmacist at Hôtel-Dieu in Saint-Basile.
