Sister Béatrice Kearney (1908-2001) (ph_4108)

Béatrice was born in Saint-Leonard, and her parents were Charles Kearney and Marie Beaulieu. Her paternal grandfather was known as a doctor of branches. Béatrice entered the convent of Saint-Basile in 1927. She was in charge of the central kitchen. Later, she treated the sick in Van Buren, at the Sanatorium of Saint-Basile, in Sorel and at the infirmary of the Sisters at Saint-Basile.
