Sister Berthe Boucher (1902-1990) (ph_4110)

Berthe Boucher, daughter of Pierre Boucher and Sémida Dionne, was born in Notre-Dame-du-Portage, Quebec. She had a teaching licence when she decided to enter the convent of Saint-Basile in 1924. At first, she went to the School of nursing at Hôtel-Dieu in Campbellton. As medical laboratory technician, she was very professional and precise in her work, and the doctors of Hôtel-Dieu in Saint-Basile were unanimous in saying that her tests results were always reliable.
