Marthe Albert (1904-1987) (ph_4044)

Marthe Albert was born in St. David, Maine and was the youngest daughter of Thomas Albert and Séverine Cyr. She studied with the Daughters of Wisdom in Sainte Agathe, Maine. In the student group photo, Marthe is the third from the left in the first row. In order to learn English, she studied for two years in Old Town, Maine. This young American girl entered the convent of Saint-Basile in 1927 and was at first a teacher. Photo taken around 1920.
