Sister Marie McIntyre, novice (ph_3647)

When she took the veil, Sister McIntyre received the religious habit, she had to wear a crown of white flowers over her white veil. A very bright student and an outstanding teacher, Sister McIntyre was also gifted in music. She taught at the Academy until around 1965 and was director of the students’ choir she took to the Music festival in Saint John. Sister played the piano very well and was organist for a good number of years.
