Laurence and Jeanne Gay (ph_3638)

The Gay sisters were the daughters of Auguste Gay and Fortunée Agnel of Ottawa and the sisters of Victorine, a Religious Hospitaller at the convent of Saint-Basile. Accompanied by one or the other of her daughters, Mrs. Gay came annually to visit her daughter Victorine. After her death in 1932, the Gay ladies continued to come to Madawaska to visit their sister.
