Basilice Caron Morin (ph_503)

The family of Magloire Morin and Basilice Caron lived in Sainte-Rose-du-Dégelis and had six young children when Magloire died. Mrs. Morin came to live in Saint-Basile, where she worked as a shoemaker to support her family. Her eldest daughter named Basilice became an extern Sister at Hôtel-Dieu and took the name Sister Virginie.
