Cemetery of the Religious Hospitallers in 1913 (ph_3530)

St. Joseph’s chapel and the cemetery of the community, which were located near the road and in front of Hôtel-Dieu were moved to a new site in 1912. Exceptionally, some priests and other persons who gave themselves to the community were buried there. To the left, the forged iron crosses are those of Father Maillet and Father O’Brien graves, who died, respectively, in 1888 and 1899. The black crosses to the left mark the Sisters final resting place. Photo taken around 1913.
