Félix Dugal (1867-1946) (ph_2613)

Son of Charles and Vénérande D’Amour, Félix was born in Rivière-du-Loup and was a half brother to Msgr. L.N. Dugal. He studied at the Grand Seminary of Quebec and was ordained priest in 1892 by Bishop Blais of Rimouski. He was parish priest in Drummond from 1894 to 1932 and after that was chaplain at the noviciate of the Religious Hospitallers in Bathurst. Monsieur Dugal, as he was called, certainly was a generous benefactor of the works of Hôtel-Dieu in Saint-Basile. Photo, Belle, Fraserville, Quebec.
