Georges Bernier (1880-1956) (ph_311)

Son of Léandre and Célina Lapointe of Saint-Basile, Georges was a student at Hôtel-Dieu Academy from 1887 to 1893. Then he enrolled at St. Mary’s College in Van Buren, Maine, and after at the College of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière. After his theological studies at the Grand Seminary in Quebec, he was ordained priest at Chatham in 1907.
