Sister Malvina Daigle (1857-1944) (ph_123)

Born in Saint-Hilaire, Madawaska, Malvina studied in Maine and received a teaching diploma. After ten years of teaching, she was admitted into the convent in 1888, as associate sister. She helped in the classes, the sacristy, the sewing room and the laundry room. She was also portress. Photo taken in her room in 1937.
