Jeanne was the daughter of Victor I. Albert from Saint-Hilaire and Elizabeth Kennedy from Clair. She studied at Cormier School and worked as a stenographer during seven years for Charles H. Miller, director of Imperial Oil Ltd on Queen Street in Edmundston. In July 1941, her marriage to Léandre Chiasson was blessed in Bathurst by Bishop Patrice A. Chiasson, a great-uncle of Léandre. In August 1948, they opened the L. Chiasson Fur Ltd. Company in Edmundston. Mrs. Chiasson was always present and supportive of the family business. Photo around 1935. Loan by Jeanne Albert Chiasson.
