Anthony Clavet (1945 -1990) (am_1948)

Anthony Clavet was the son of Harvey Clavette and Rita Landry of Saint-Basile. At the age of eighteen, Anthony enrolled in a hairdresser and make-up artist course in Springfield, Massachusetts. Quickly known for the simplicity and quality of his work, he created some make-up styles for fashion designers from Europe such as: Lanvin, Cardin, Saint-Laurent. Anthony made up among others, Princess Anne of England, the Empress of Iran and some movie stars. He spent several years in Spain and had an international career. In New York, he worked with David Bowie and other renowned artists. Photo around 1975.
