Joseph, son of Paul Thibodeau (1902-1973) (ph_4013)

Young Joseph (called Jos) was the son of Paul Thibodeau and Marie Cyr from Sainte-Anne of Madawaska. First row, little Georgiana who married to Alphée Smith in 1927, and her little sister who died young. Second row, Paul Thibodeau and his son Joseph called Jos. In the last row, Jos’ mother Marie Cyr is in the centre, between two of Paul’s sisters. From 1912 to 1914, Jos was a pupil at Saint-Louis boarding school. After, he enrolled in Commerce at Saint-Joseph College in Memramcook. Later, he was mostly employed as an accountant at Fraser’s in Edmundston. In 1931, Jos married Eugénie Martin, daughter of Théodule Martin and Alice Michaud of Saint-Basile. The couple had four boys and four girls. Photo around 1911.
