Hôtel-Dieu Academy (ph_3683)

This new wing of Hôtel-Dieu constructed in 1935 contains the required accommodations for the Academy: classes on the third floor, dormitories on the fourth, refectories and halls on the ground-level floor. The boys boarding school was closed in 1947. The first floor was used by members of the clergy and the second was partially reserved for retired people. Hôtel-Dieu Academy became Académie Maillet in September 1960. Photo taken in 1966.
