An aunt and her three nieces (ph_4062)

From left to right, Sister Plourde, Véronique, Alix and Adrienne Godbout. In the autumn of 1933, Véronique entered the convent at Saint-Basile and took the habit of the postulant. Her sister Adrienne was then a novice and wore a white veil. Alix was a professed sister. At their first profession, the young Sisters pronounce their vows for three years. The black veil distinguishes the professed Sister from the novice.
