J. Albert Tremblay (1896-1981) (am_2283)

Originally from Kamouraska, J. Albert Tremblay came to Saint-Léonard in 1927. His wife Rose Anna Gagnon from Brunswick, Maine, had studied with the Ursulines in Waterville. She was the organist in Saint-Léonard church and gave piano lessons. They had one son, Roland nicknamed Shaker, who studied business at St. Joseph College in Memramcook. J. Albert Tremblay was a telegrapher at the Saint-Léonard Station and Mayor from 1950 to 1961. Photo taken around 1940.
